Dahuni Foundation was named after the late Mrs. Sri Dahuni, mother of Riyani Indriyati, founder of the foundation. As a teacher, she advocated for education for underprivileged students particularly for girls in remote villages of Indonesia. The foundation was created as a tribute to her advocacy work in education and to honor her legacy.
